Bang, and the dirt is gone.

This outfit pretty much screams washing detergent. Whether it's summer or winter, I love to wear an all white look. It's just super clean and subtle, bold but not loud. Yes you have to watch everything, the way you eat, what you sit on. In my case, I got mud smeared all over these trousers when I wore them.
However, it still looks good IF you keep your inner slob locked up.

LEATHER, COATS AND PALM TREES

It was the weirdest feeling walking down a street filled with palm trees, sandy beaches and pebbled floors, wearing a coat, jumper and leather pants. It wasn't warm at all though which eased my discomfort.

Some days are all about taking a classic and simple look and adding a bit of edge to it, or as I like to say "umph". These leather biker pants from Zara are always my favourite way to switch up a classic look by adding some toughness to the outfit. They've been a favourite in my wardrobe since I purchased them and whenever I'm feeling a bit blah, and want to look put together but still feel like "one of the cool kids", I slip these on.

We're coming to the end of coat weather and yes, it's going to be tough for me to stop wearing my favourite thick coats and jumpers but I'm still looking forward to wearing lighter layers and boho vibes.

Are you ready for spring?

Spring Mule-over.

Mule Over! There's a new boy in town. If you've been following me on my twitter, you'll know that I've been on the hunt for a pair of flat mules since the beginning of 2014. The hunt is finally over thanks to H&M Studio. H&M have my heart (and my bank account) right now and as well as many other things I've jumped to purchase, these have got to be my favourite.

Mules aren't everyones cup of coffee, I have seen the odd "Ugly shoes" comments flying around but as long as you like them, rock em till you wear 'em out. I really just wanted a super relaxed outfit to run into town wearing so I threw together this simple classic, white tee & black trousers ensemble.

These shoes and cardigan are sold out now, but there's an alternative pair on the webpage - Link here if you are dying to get your mitts on a pair.

The Spring makeover is well under way guys, can't wait to style these mules this spring.
By that I mean wear the hell out of them.

Mule or no Mule? That is the question.

LIZ EARLE TRIO

posted on: Friday, 20 March 2015

Let's talk about beauty. Something I rarely touch base on mainly because when I find something that works for me, I stick with it. Here's one of them, I've been loyal to the Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanse & Polish for years now. I cannot sleep knowing that there is any makeup on my face, so I need something effective but that also shows it's working - the muslin cloth is a gem for this.

Liz Earle were super kind to send me their 20th anniversary hot cloth trio, featuring three different fragranced cleansers.

The set includes :

  • Rose & Lavender Cleanser, 100ml
  • Grapefruit & Patchouli Cleanser, 100ml
  • Orange Flower & Chamomile Cleanser, 100ml
  • Muslin Clothes x 2

I take around a pump of the cleanser and apply to dry skin, using the muslin cloth I wipe away the cleanser and my makeup (and get grossed out by all my makeup that is now on my muslin cloth) and finish off by washing my face with cold water.

Each fragrance for me is perfect for different moods, but the Rose & Lavender was a winner in my eyes. I like soft and gentle fragrances in the evening, and the Rose and Lavender is that perfect night-time relaxing scent. My skin always feels extremely clean and fresh after I use my cleanser, it's my absolute holy grail/lifesaver/supercleanser that has been in my cabinet for the past few years and it's there to stay.

What are your favourite cleansers?
Do you have a favourite Liz Earle scent?

WE GOT COLOUR

posted on: Saturday, 14 March 2015

Hey loves! I know, and before you ask, I'm completely fine! Me wearing colour doesn't mean I'm not feeling well, I promise! I came across, (by that I mean frantically hunted down) this H&M safari shirt and to my surprise was extremely drawn towards it. I guess it's still a neutral colour but, it's not my usual Black/white, spring does something to me. I paired the shirt with a turtleneck underneath and some cropped kick-leg trousers to add to the super seventies vibe.

Resisting the urge to break in to some serious Abba karaoke right now.
